Can AI understand what you sell?
Your products need to be clear before anything else: what they are, who they are for, what problem they solve, what they cost, whether they are in stock, and where they ship.
Your Shopify store can be live, beautiful and still hard for AI to understand.
When a buyer asks ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity or Google what to buy, the answer becomes the sale path. If your product information is unclear, incomplete or inconsistent, the cleaner competitor gets named first.
The ecommerce problem
In ecommerce, AI does not start with your homepage. It starts with the product record: the facts, prices, stock, reviews, images, categories, shipping and use cases that describe what you sell.
If that record is messy, every channel downstream becomes messy too. Google sees one story. Shopify sends another. Your page says a third. AI will not spend time guessing.
It will recommend the product it can read, trust and explain.
The framework
That is the order. Do not start with prompts, rankings or ads if AI cannot first understand the product and trust the facts around it.

Can AI understand what you sell?
Your products need to be clear before anything else: what they are, who they are for, what problem they solve, what they cost, whether they are in stock, and where they ship.
Trust
Does the same product story appear everywhere?
If your store says one price, Google sees another, and an old page tells a different story, AI has no reason to trust the answer. It will choose the cleaner competitor.

Can AI explain why your product is the right choice?
The winning product is not always the best product. It is the product AI can confidently match to a buyer, a use case, an objection, a budget, and a moment.
What we do
We make the product record clearer: what shoppers see, what shopping channels receive, and what AI systems can read.
Product clarity
Titles, descriptions, categories, tags, images and key product facts need to explain what the product is, who it is for, and why it fits a buyer.
Feed consistency
Shopify, Google, Meta and the product page need to tell the same story: same price, same stock, same shipping, same product facts.
Structured product data
We check whether the machine-readable version of the product contains the facts AI and Google rely on: offer, reviews, brand, shipping, returns and product details.
Trust signals
Reviews, ratings, policies, proof and old claims need to support the product instead of creating doubt.
Buying angles
Each product needs to answer the real situations buyers ask about: use case, age, fit, gift, budget, objection, comparison and urgency.
Priority order
You leave knowing what to fix first, what can wait, and which problems repeat across the catalog.
Ecommerce products
Go straight into a 10-PDP or 50-PDP fix when you already know the product pages need work.
10 PDP Visibility Fix
$390
one-time
For the 10 products that matter first. We clean the PDP copy, Shopify fields, feed attributes, structured product data, reviews and policy facts so the product is easier to read, trust and recommend.
Takes at least 1 week, counted from the day we agree the 10 products and your access.
Title, subtitle and description fixes
Category, tags and product facts cleaned
Feed fields aligned with the PDP
Structured product data updates prepared
Ratings, shipping and return facts checked
Shopify CLI/Admin updates if access is granted
50 PDP Visibility Fix
$990
one-time
For stores where the same PDP problems repeat across collections. We fix 50 priority products, clean the recurring field gaps, and leave a pattern the rest of the catalog can follow.
Takes at least 15 days, counted from the day we agree the 50 products and your access.
50 PDPs cleaned against the map
Recurring catalog gaps fixed in batches
Product fields, feed fields and page copy aligned
Merchant Center fields prepared
Buyer queries and use cases added where useful
Upload-ready sheet or Shopify CLI/Admin implementation
The search shift
Old search was a keyword. AI search is a buyer explaining the job: who they are, what they need, what hurts, what they already tried, and what would make one product the right choice. If your PDP only names the item, another store gets the sale.
Weak product record
Red running shoes
Recommendable product record
Red trail-running shoes for wide feet, mixed road and trail use, stable heel, replaceable insole, available in size 47.
The fix is not adding more words. It is putting the right facts in the product page, the Shopify record, the feed and the structured data, so AI can trust the match.
Technical depth
You do not need to know what every field means. You need to know whether the product record is thin, or whether it follows a complete PDP map across the page, Shopify, feeds, structured data and trust signals.
Before
Few visible layers
The typical store has some product facts on the page and in Shopify, but the layers are thin, incomplete and not connected enough for AI-assisted buying.
| Layer | Usually present | Usually missing |
|---|---|---|
| Visible PDP | Title, short description, price and main image. | Answer-first copy, buying angles, FAQ, cross-sells and proof that machines can reuse. |
| Basic Shopify record | Product type, stock status, vendor and a few tags. | Correct taxonomy, product metafields, identifiers, Search & Discovery data and variant hygiene. |
| Basic channel feed | The product is connected to a shopping channel. | Product highlights, product details, Q&A, shipping, returns, reviews and clean consistency across channels. |
After
Complete PDP map
The fix follows the field map behind a recommendable PDP: page copy, Shopify data, feed facts, media, reviews, policies and structured product data.
| Layer | What we check | Example fields |
|---|---|---|
| Visible product page | Make the PDP sell clearly to a human buyer. | Title, subtitle, short description, answer-first body, product highlights, product details, FAQ, media and cross-sells. |
| Shopify product record | Clean the source data that feeds the storefront and connected channels. | Handle, product type, category, tags, vendor, status, variants, SKU, barcode or GTIN, inventory, weight and product metafields. |
| Product media | Give search and AI enough visual context to understand the product. | Image alt text, interior/product images, lifestyle images, demo video, sample audio and creator credits when relevant. |
| Merchant and shopping feed | Make the feed useful for Google, Meta and AI shopping surfaces. | Feed title, description, availability, price, brand, GTIN, condition, product category, age or audience, product highlights, product details and Q&A. |
| Structured product data | Give machines the same clean facts buyers see on the page. | Product, Offer, AggregateRating, Review, MerchantReturnPolicy, shipping, Book or category-specific schema, FAQ text and BreadcrumbList. |
| Trust and consistency | Remove the contradictions that make AI choose a cleaner competitor. | Matching price, stock, shipping, returns, reviews, ratings, claims, freshness dates, old copy and policy information. |
| Discovery and recommendation | Help the product match real buyer questions and catalog relationships. | Search boost queries, related products, complementary products, bundles, use cases, gifting angles, audience, age, format and language. |
| Technical access | Make sure the store can be reached, indexed and represented correctly. | Robots rules, sitemap, canonical, Open Graph image, server-rendered data, product URLs, redirects and page freshness. |
